So we just had an outstanding first shooting day this past Sunday.  Not a single thing went wrong.  This is naturally a very scary thing, as something always goes wrong.  We’ll have lots of fun set photos up soon, but in the meantime we wanted to introduce the rest of the “Minor Embarrassments” cast.

Will Cooper is David “Texas” Hojem

WillCooperHShot2Will Cooper is an actor, singer, and improviser based in New York, who performs regularly at the UCB.  He will be portraying David “Texas” Hojem, a rival of Erik T. Gershbach in poker and in life.













Shaniqua Upshaw is Amanda Lake Flauria

shaniquaShaniqua Upshaw is delighted to be apart of Minor Embarrassments as the role of Amanda. She has appeared in various TV shows such as “Gossip Girl” and “One Life to Live.” Her most recent theatre appearance was in the off-Broadway show “Girls of Color. ”  She studied Finance and Theatre Arts at Pace University in NYC.  She spends most of her type updating her website and taking acting, singing, and dancing classes around NYC.










Lindsay Zaroogian is Liz Rosen

Lindsay Zaroogian is a New York City based actress.  She graduated with a BFA in musical theatre from SUNY Fredonia.  Since graduation, she has done several national tours, worked regionally, and even spent a summer in Switzerland teaching middle school children to sing in English!

One favorite job was working at the Astors’ Beechwood Mansion giving living history tours, performing in murder mysteries and Victorian balls, and brushing up her classical repertoire as the resident pianist.

Other favorite roles include Mimi in the Rhode Island premiere of Rent, Alice in Let’s Misbehave: The Music and Lyrics of Cole Porter (an original musical review produced at Bristol Valley Theatre), Snoopy in You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown!, and Old Yeller in Old Yeller.




Milee Bang is Peggy Chow


Milee Bang is thrilled to be a part of Minor Embarrassments.  She recently shot an episode for “My Crazy Love” for the Oxygen Channel and performed in the play “My Father’s Ashes” which she was nominated for Outstanding Actress in a Featured Role by The New York Innovative Theater Awards.  She is a graduate of the Atlantic Acting Conservatory and also received training at Stella Adler.











Zach Sciranka is Randy Mangiaro


Zach Sciranka is a NYC-based actor who will be portraying Randy Mangiaro, long-suffering boyfriend of Erik’s friend Peggy Chow.
